Un très beau hôtel au plein centre de Bayeux, silencieux et franchement merveilleux. C'est peut-être la configuration de ma chambre (no.38!) mais entre les au moins 50 hôtels "boutiques" que je connais en France, c'est sans doute le mieux.

Superb- will recommend to others. The lady on duty was extremely helpful- I don’t have her name. She even helped find free car parking!!

This is the fourth stay at your hotel. The rooms and general hotel facilities are still very good. The restaurant has become very expensive and the staff were rude and abrupt to us on a number of occasions. The beer was especially expensive at €7.5 for a large beer, I could buy a beer for €3 just 50 metres away. For this reason we only had three breakfasts and didn't use the restaurant. Slightly disappointed.
Dear Guest, Thank you for your impressions you left about our website. First thank you for telling our rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel close to town centre. As for the breakfast, we propose a breakfast buffet at 11.50E but we also propose just coffee and croissant (and you don't pay 11.50E), you pay just what you eat. Next time don't hesitate to tell us what you want to eat. We will be pleased to propose you something else than the breakfast of course. As for the staff we are glad you found the reception very good and we are sorry for the staff in the restaurant. We don't know what happened and we are sorry if you felt liked attacked. The staff is usually happy with the smile and always here for you. We would be pleased to receive you for your fifth time ! Kind regards Barbara

Dear Guest, Thank you for leaving your impressions about our establishment. We are sorry about the rates you gave since it means that your stay didn't reach your expectations. The staff work hard to satisfy our guests and obvisouly failed with you and we are sorry. Concerning the price we are not the most expensive hotel considering the area (we cannot be more central, located near everything) and considering the type of rooms. Even if you take the standard room you will have a queen size bed and air condition. The rooms can be small of course but their superficy is well stipulated in our website. We do also have bigger rooms. Maybe next time you should book a confort room or a prestige room. As regard the cleaning of the room, we did the necessary with the staff. Sorry for the bad experience. Dear M Steyaert, Thank you for writing your impressions about our hotel. We are sorry that our hotel did not meet your expectations. You have booked a standard room in the main building which makes approximately 15 square meters which can be enough for one night. But know that we propose superior category like the comfort rooms (around 25 square meters) and prestige rooms (between 30 and 40 square meters). Concerning your room, we could have offered you a room without a sloped ceiling. Can you tell us more about the cleanliness and the carpet ? If it was missing, we would have been able to give you one. We always do our best to give rooms to our customers of an irreprochable cleanliness. We are surprised of your impressions about the restaurant, we offer many different homemade dishes like casual dishes ( omelettes, croque-monsieur, burgers…) with a non-stop service. We also offer dishes with meat or fish, also salads, vegetarian dishes, and local food. We hope to see you again to let you see how much we improve ourselves since the satisfaction of our clients is one of our priorities. Regards, Margaux

We visited Bayeux after 4 days in Paris. We needed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Being central to the WWII museums and the Bayeux Tapestry rounded out the experience.
